Job Summary
This company is a rapidly scaling fractional CFO and financial services firm dedicated to helping eCommerce and CPG brands unlock hidden profits and build robust financial systems. We are looking for a high-energy, independent Sales Development Representative to act as the frontline of our growth engine. In this role, you will be responsible for qualifying high-value prospects, mastering "speed-to-lead" response times, and managing a high-volume outreach cadence. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to work directly with founders and executives, selling advanced financial solutions while moving into an Account Executive track within 60–90 days based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound leads within 5 minutes via text and phone to maximize conversion.
- Conduct high-level qualification calls using the CLO framework to assess prospect needs.
- Execute 50–80 outbound calls per day to targeted eCommerce and CPG brands ($5M - $150M revenue).
- Book qualified diagnostic calls and manage rigorous appointment confirmation sequences to ensure high show rates.
- Manage multi-channel follow-up for warm prospects via email, text, LinkedIn, and Loom.
- Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene, tracking pipeline stages and ensuring no opportunity falls through the cracks.
- Disqualify leads that do not fit the Ideal Customer Profile to maintain calendar quality for the executive team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in Lead Qualification and Cold Calling.
- Previous experience or deep familiarity with the eCommerce or CPG industry.
- Ability to work PST hours (core overlap between 9am - 4pm PST).
- Strong phone presence and the resilience to handle high-volume outbound activity.
- Comfort discussing business fundamentals such as revenue, margins, and cash flow with executives.
Nice-to-Haves
- 2+ years of experience in SDR, BDR, or appointment setting roles.
- Background in financial services, consulting, or agency environments.
- Experience selling B2B services directly to founders or C-suite executives.
- Proficiency with tools such as Apollo, Salesforce, and Google Workspace.
- Proven track record of managing "speed-to-lead" processes and multi-channel follow-ups.
