Job Description
Our client is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager who combines strong sales execution with the ambition and potential to grow into a future leadership role.
The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to build strong relationships with doctors and key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and consistently deliver sales results. Importantly, our client is looking for someone who is excited by the challenge of launching new injectable products.
This talent can build product confidence among physicians, identify early adopters and KOLs, generate momentum in the market, and progressively convert interest into sustainable adoption and sales.
Beyond individual performance, our client is looking for someone who demonstrates leadership potential. This means being willing to take ownership beyond their own territory, share knowledge and best practices with colleagues, support, and influence others positively, and demonstrate the maturity and accountability expected of a future team leader.
The successful candidate should be ambitious to progress into a leadership position within approximately 12 months, subject to demonstrating strong sales performance, successful product-launch execution, and readiness to lead others.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, clinics and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), with a focus on building product confidence and developing long-term customer partnerships.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals through strong sales execution, new business development and successful conversion of product interest into sustainable sales.
- New Product Launch & Market Development: Support the launch and market penetration of new injectable products by identifying early adopters and KOLs, generating market momentum and driving product adoption.
- Market Research & Strategy: Stay up to date with market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify opportunities, understand market potential and support effective product positioning.
- Product Training & Education: Educate doctors and clinic teams on product benefits, technology, clinical advantages and proper usage to build product confidence and encourage adoption.
- Reporting & Analysis: Submit regular sales performance reports, product launch updates and market feedback to track progress, identify challenges and recommend opportunities for growth.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership: Share product knowledge, market insights and best practices with colleagues, support team initiatives and demonstrate the ownership, maturity and ability to influence others expected of a future team leader.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in medical/pharmaceutical sales.
- Existing experience in dermatological or skincare products, preferably in mid premium segment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – understanding and ability to communicate in English.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities and ability to position products based on technology and clinical advantages.
- Understanding of Clinic and stakeholder motivations, influencing factors and “partnership” mindset.
- Strong Business acumen & hunger to maximize potential with existing client and drive new clinic expansion and curiosity to understand business potential.
- Strong collaboration mindset and desire to work with colleagues for synergies.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and proactive.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, with the ambition and ability to progress towards a team leadership role, subject to strong sales performance, successful product-launch execution and readiness to lead others.
