Porsche Austin is looking for Sales Porter to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Summary:

A Sales Porter at a Porsche dealership manages the dealership's high-end vehicle inventory, prepares cars for client presentation, and supports the sales team to ensure a premium luxury delivery experience. This role includes specializing in the precise handling, staging, and high-voltage charging logistics for electric vehicles (EV) such as the Porsche Taycan and Macan Electric.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Organize and arrange new, pre-owned, and showroom vehicles. Ensure all vehicles are parked perfectly and displayed according to Porsche brand standards.
• EV Logistics & Charging: Monitor and manage battery health and state-of-charge (SoC) for Porsche Taycan and other EV models. Safely operate dealership DC fast chargers and AC charging infrastructure, ensuring optimal charging cycles prior to client delivery.
• Vehicle Preparation: Detail, wash, and vacuum vehicles for showroom display, test drives, and final client delivery. Inspect vehicles thoroughly for scratches, dents, low fluids, or display errors.
• Delivery Experience: Stage vehicles perfectly in the delivery bay for new owners. Ensure the car is spotless, fully fueled or charged to optimal handover levels, and impeccably presented for the client experience.
• Logistics Support: Transport vehicles safely to and from off-site storage lots, fuel stations, detail shops, or sister dealerships.
• Showroom Maintenance: Maintain the premium cleanliness and presentation of the showroom floor, sales lot, EV charging stations, and vehicle staging areas.
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to maintain insurable status under dealership policies.
• Manual Transmission: Proven ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles safely—critical for handling sports car inventory.
• EV Familiarity: Understanding of electric vehicle operation, range monitoring, and public/dealership charging equipment (experience with Porsche Taycan models preferred).
• Attention to Detail: Deep pride in vehicle presentation and an absolute eye for maintaining flawless aesthetics on luxury automobiles.
• Professionalism: Excellent interpersonal skills and a highly polished presentation suitable for a luxury retail brand environment.
