About Our Sales Representative


Our ideal candidate has the sales and relationship skills to support and grow established accounts, as well as the drive to pursue additional revenue from new, untapped sources. This role has a clear career path with opportunity growing into strategic roles within 12-18 months. If you're ready to apply sales strategies to break records and connect customers with their ideal solutions, this is the position for you!



Responsibilities



  • Build meaningful relationships with customers and internal parties to effectively advocate for customers' needs
  • Actively cultivate new customer opportunities to grow our business
  • Develop an understanding of our extensive product offerings to provide technical expertise to customers
  • Track and follow up on business opportunities in our ERP system - Oracle JD Edwards - from lead to close



    These are some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during your workday, but you may be called upon to fulfill other duties as needed.

    • Communication: You will interact with customers and peers in a manner that promotes rapport and trust; excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical
    • Adaptability: You adjust well to changing circumstances and think well on your feet. You have excellent organizational and follow-through skills to handle multiple complex tasks within tight deadline parameters

    Qualifications



    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years direct sales experience preferred
    • Technical aptitude is necessary, and industrial sales experience is a plus
    • Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone

    This is a full time, in-office position, working Monday - Friday daytime hours with weekends off. The starting salary is within the posted range and is determined by experience, potential, and education.
