Roles & Responsibilities : An experienced SAP EWM Consultant to support the complex warehouse management processes across global business units. The candidate should possess strong functional and troubleshooting expertise in SAP EWM and be capable of independently handling critical incidents, service requests, problem tickets, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer discussions. 

 

• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP EWM incidents, service requests, and problem management activities. 

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex EWM issues within SLA timelines. 

• Investigate business process issues related to:  

• Inbound Processing 

• Outbound Processing 

• Internal Warehouse Processes 

• Goods Receipt / Goods Issue 

• Putaway Strategies 

• Picking Strategies 

• Replenishment 

• Physical Inventory 

• Cross Docking 

• Slotting and Rearrangement 

• Wave Management 

• Yard Management 

• Labor Management 

• Work closely with business users to gather requirements and provide effective solutions. 

• Support integration topics involving:  

• SAP EWM ? S/4HANA / ECC 

• Cross Module experience - MM,

  SD,

  PP,

  QM,TM, RF Framework,

  MFS 

• EDI / IDoc interfaces 

• Perform root cause analysis and prepare detailed solution documentation. 

• Support testing activities, including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Hypercare. 

• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives within the warehouse domain. 

• Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams across different time zones. 
  
   

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Engineering background

 

Experience : 6-7+ Years (Minimum 5-6 years of relevant SAP EWM experience) 

 

Mandatory/requires Skills : Strong experience in SAP EWM configuration and support. 

• Expertise in warehouse process execution and troubleshooting. 

• Strong understanding of:  

• Warehouse Structure 

• Storage Types 

• Storage Sections/Bins 

• Work Centers 

• Queue Management 

• Wave Management 

• PPF 

• RF Transactions 

• Monitoring Frameworks 

• Experience in handling high-priority production issues and customer escalations. 

• Ability to analyze ABAP debugging logs and collaborate with technical teams. 

• Experience with SAP Notes implementation and defect analysis. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred Skills : SAP EWM Certification. 

• Experience with S/4HANA Embedded EWM. 

• Exposure to global support environments. 

• Experience in leading KT sessions and mentoring junior consultants. 

• Knowledge of automation, warehouse robotics, and SAP TM integration.
