We’re currently seeking a School Aged Group Leader to join our passionate team at our Bellingham location. This vital role supports multiple classrooms, offering flexibility and variety while ensuring consistency in high-quality childcare.

Lead and supervise a group of school-age children during our afternoon program

Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, games, STEM, outdoor play, and group projects

Support children with homework, reading, and other school-related activities when needed

Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families

Encourage cooperation, independence, problem-solving, and positive social interactions

Maintain consistent routines, expectations, and classroom structure

Use positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior management strategies

Supervise children closely and maintain active awareness of their safety and well-being

Communicate effectively with families and members of the teaching team

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment

Follow all health, safety, licensing, and center policies and procedures

Work collaboratively with the leadership team and other educators to provide a high-quality experience for every child
