Science Teacher

We are looking for a Science Teacher for an International High School based in Ningbo. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year starting in August 2026.

About School

This bilingual school is a Chinese-Western integrated international bilingual school jointly established by two century-old schools in China and the United States. It covers three sections: international bilingual kindergarten, nine-year bilingual primary and junior middle school, international high school, and special high school. It fully implements bilingual immersion teaching in both Chinese and English. We will build a Sino-Western integrated teaching system that adapts to the dual channels of high school entrance examination and study abroad.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the school’s science subjects to high school students
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student
• Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, record appropriate records and prepare progress reports
• Communicate with parents
• Collaborate with school administrators and peer teachers
• Participate in curriculum and professional development sessions
• Assist and coordinate activities and events inside and outside of school location

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above major in education or relevant
• At least 2 years teaching experience
• Additional Requirements: 2 or more years of classroom teaching experience in US curriculum
• Experience with English Language Learners preferred

• Monthly salary of 23,000 to 26,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
