Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Science Technician to join their busy science faculty from September. This is a full-time position, ideal for a science graduate, experienced school technician, or laboratory professional looking for a rewarding role in education.
The successful candidate will prepare laboratory equipment, chemical solutions, and practical materials for Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level) science lessons. Key duties include managing chemical storage following CLEAPSS and COSHH guidelines, maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, assisting teachers during live practical demonstrations, and ensuring strict health and safety protocols across all science prep rooms and laboratories.
