Script Developer
iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.
In the script developer role, you will be working on developing / maintaining important scripts connecting with a variety of data sources and performing conversion of data from customer specific format to company internal, standardized format.
You will:
- Work with the client US team in developing / maintaining script library
- Execute / automation execution of scripts and monitor success or failures
- Develop / automatically test and deploy new connectors to new data sources
- Continuously integrate, unit test, and use automation to ensure stable deliverables
Qualifications
Technical skills:
- Strong expertise in Python or Perl (PHP possible but Python preferred)
- Strong experience in scripting language (OOP not required)
- Linux knowledge (any flavor) mandatory
- DevOps / Sysadmin expertise is a plus
Experience level
- BS in Computer Science, Computer/ Engineering or equivalent
