Gatehouse Security Officer

Location: Scunthorpe

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotating days and nights (6:00am–6:00pm / 6:00pm–6:00am)

We are looking for a reliable and professional Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team in Scunthorpe. This role is ideal for someone who is vigilant, customer-focused, and comfortable working a mixture of gatehouse duties and site patrols.

Key responsibilities

• Controlling vehicle entry and exit to the site

• Booking vehicles in and maintaining accurate records

• Monitoring CCTV systems and reporting incidents

• Carrying out computer and telephone-based administrative tasks

• Conducting regular site patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises

• Providing excellent customer service to visitors, contractors, and staff

Requirements

• Strong communication and IT skills

• Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts on a rotating 4 on, 4 off pattern

• A professional, dependable, and proactive approach

• Previous security experience and a valid SIA licence are preferred

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour
