Job Description

As a Security Guard Credential Screening in Diamond Bar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Screener at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring access, screening visitors, verifying credentials, and communicating with residents, guests, and team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Bring a customer-focused approach while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and helps deter security-related incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and deliveries entering the residential community in accordance with established procedures; verify authorization and direct approved visitors appropriately.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain accurate visitor and access logs, and report unusual, unauthorized, or suspicious activity to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional assistance when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
