Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Access Control in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, distribution, parking, loading dock, trailer yard, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations through detailed reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
