Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Visitor Badge Management in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly operations at the location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
