Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Compliance in Romeoville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure, efficient environment by screening individuals, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or packages in accordance with site procedures, including operating screening equipment and conducting inspections as assigned.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document the entry and exit of authorized personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, parking areas, loading zones, and access points, and prepare clear activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
