Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Saint Cloud, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, employees, and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail and distribution location personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, warehouse access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and vendor entry procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and access-related documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established site procedures.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
