Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Authorization Review in Livermore, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors. Through a visible presence and attention to security-related procedures, you will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors while supporting security-related procedures within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
