Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Systems Driver in Friendly, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment at an industrial location. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting conditions that may require attention.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence and following established entry and exit procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
