Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Management Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and communicate security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and access control activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
