Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Patrol in East Saint Louis, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming, secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observed conditions in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
