Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Crisis Response in Pacoima, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. You will support a caring, team-focused environment while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and authorized personnel at government facilities while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of assigned areas, control access as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, site requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
