Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operations in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarm and access control systems, support badge activity, and help maintain awareness of site operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, document security-related activity, and communicate with teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Coordinate dispatch communications for inbound and outbound transportation activity, including documenting driver arrivals, departures, trailer movements, and access-related information.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and dispatch communications to help support orderly flow of personnel, vehicles, and freight throughout the distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of dispatch areas, parking lots, docks, trailer yards, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
