Job Description

As a Security Officer - Distribution Site in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete detailed activity reports, maintain awareness of site-specific protocols, and support a professional, customer-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
