As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Operations in Breinigsville, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.47 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access credentials.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems, including installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of various alarm technologies and protocols is essential.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues. Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized entry attempts, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, lobby areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and access-control activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
