As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Fort Washington, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.44 / Hour

Age Requirement:

• All candidates must be at least 21 years of age. This requirement is in accordance with our company policy (C101) and is essential for compliance with industry regulations.

Security Experience:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience. This experience is critical to ensure that new hires are adequately prepared for the responsibilities they will undertake (C115).

Valid Driver's License:

• A valid driver's license is required for all candidates, in compliance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). Candidates must provide proof of a valid license during the application process.

Educational Verification:

• Candidates must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. This documentation is a requirement set forth by our clients and is necessary for employment consideration (C137).

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and supporting an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
