Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Screening Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, unusual activity, and access-control matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
