Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Desk in Coatesville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and site personnel while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain access logs, and follow established procedures for deliveries and contractor access.
• Screen and document incoming and outgoing vehicles, materials, and personnel in accordance with facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned industrial facility areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
