Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Doral, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cruise Ops, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting cruise operations, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents at a dynamic waterfront location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and crew by carrying out access control procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, terminals, gangways, and surrounding perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and related documentation while communicating professionally with passengers, crew, and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
