Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Security Patrol in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to resident and visitor needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and comply with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
