Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Access in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and respond to alarm panel activity. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and help prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic, including vendor, shipment, and delivery activity, following established entry and exit procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
