Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control in Edmond, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to authorized areas in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to access-related incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access-control activities, and unusual conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
