Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Management in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries entering or exiting the utility equipment manufacturing location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-control records in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
