Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Key Control in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, assisting visitors, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry and exit activity, reporting unusual conditions, and communicating with appropriate site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, interior areas, and the property perimeter, as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
