Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Access Verification in Lake Mary, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by greeting visitors, assisting with access procedures, and communicating site-specific policies.
• Monitor visitor activity, maintain accurate visitor records, and issue temporary credentials in accordance with established security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Observe lobby and entry-area activity, report suspicious behavior or security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Support Allied Universal and client personnel with reception coverage, telephone communications, package handling, and other front-desk administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
