Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Attendant in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Your visible presence, strong communication skills, and commitment to customer service will help deter incidents and support smooth daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers entering the facility in accordance with site policies, including verifying identification, credentials, and authorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, visitor activity, and/or delivery traffic; document required information and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; observe for unauthorized access, hazards, and/or irregular conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
