Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors and staff with exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at municipal facilities.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
