Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Coordinator in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe for loss prevention concerns, respond to alarm-related activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting observations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
• Report maintenance concerns, unusual conditions, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
