Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Panel in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a financial institution, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a professional environment through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining awareness of conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
