Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support security-related operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while partnering with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a data center location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the perimeter, to help identify unusual conditions and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting entries, incidents, and observations as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.
• Support the protection of critical infrastructure by maintaining awareness of operational areas, following post orders, and communicating potential security-related issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
