Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Screening in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help support a welcoming, orderly environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with established procedures; verify credentials and maintain accurate entry and visitor records.
• Monitor entry points, loading areas, and other designated locations for unusual activity, prohibited items, or unauthorized access, helping to deter security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas; document observations, incidents, and policy violations in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
