Job Description

As a Security Officer Government Identity Verification in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while contributing to a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and site representatives while supporting a controlled and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections and/or miltary experience
• Armed Guard card is required.
• Must have an active secret clearance .
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
