You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions and maintaining professional interactions in a patient-care environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
