As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor and vehicle activity. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with team members and guests, and support smooth operations through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and driver entry records, and help control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, and access-control issues accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
