Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Sandy, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment for employees, visitors, and patients while using computer or tablet tools as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, entrances, and restricted locations, to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, directing individuals to appropriate areas and escalating concerns to designated personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
