Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Perimeter Checks in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support visitors, employees, and the public with exceptional service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at government transportation commission locations while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, parking areas, transportation-related facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, documenting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and communication logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
