Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Verification in Newnan, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor management procedures, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
