Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Security in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, support security-related procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide professional front desk customer service by greeting employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location.
Verify visitor access, issue credentials and/or visitor badges, maintain sign-in records, and communicate arrival information to appropriate site contacts.
Monitor access points, reception-area activity, alarms, cameras, and/or communications systems in accordance with site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
Support security-related procedures by maintaining accurate logs, completing required reports, and providing clear information to visitors and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
