Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common spaces, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and vendor authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Maintain a professional presence while helping to deter unauthorized activity and supporting a welcoming environment for occupants and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
