Senior Application Developer – Power Platform (f/m/x)

Anton Paar develops, manufactures, and distributes highly accurate laboratory and process measurement instruments, as well as customized automation and robotics solutions. To further drive the digitalization of our internal business processes, we are looking to strengthen our Application Team. As a Senior Application Developer – Power Platform, you will design and develop modern business applications based on the Microsoft Power Platform and help our business units simplify and optimize their processes.

• Design, develop, and continuously enhance internal business applications with a focus on Microsoft Power Apps
• Analyze and evaluate complex business requirements and translate business processes into sustainable technical solutions
• Digitalize and automate business processes using Power Automate
• Design data models and integrations based on Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems
• Evaluate and implement integrations with Microsoft 365 services and existing applications
• Ensure the quality, maintainability, and long-term scalability of developed solutions
• Provide technical guidance and consulting to process teams and business departments, while contributing to our Pro-Code/Low-Code/No-Code strategy

Qualifications

• Completed degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in software and/or application development
• Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
• Excellent knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as experience in object-oriented software development
• Experience in designing data models, interfaces, and integrations within complex system landscapes
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate functional requirements into sustainable technical solutions
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with excellent communication skills
• Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 4.500 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
