Role: Sr. Production/Application Support Engineer
Mumbai : Work from office

Description:

  • Should have worked as Support Engineer for more than 5 years in Banking Domain Applications/Production
  • Manage and resolve technical support tickets of L1 & L2
  • Partner with the Business and Vendor team to prioritize support tickets.
  • Write Unix/Linux/Windows commands
  • Facilitate effective and proactive communications with both internal and external customers.
  • Test product-level functionality and new releases. Identify and communicate areas for improvement.
  • Serve as the technical expert for Banking Application.
  • Manage software upgrades on scheduled dates.
  • Serve as a primary contact for our client's IT department.
  • Troubleshoot network, database, and software problems for client implementations.
  • Configure system settings and options, and execute unit/integration/acceptance testing.
  • Create rules and data transfer mappings using SQL query.
  • Select, update, and insert SQL queries for generating reports and databases.
  • Data definition, data manipulation, data control, and transactional control
  • Administration, including creating and restoring SQL backups
  • Knowledge of using Command Prompt and its commands.
  • Present technical overview of software applications and technical requirements to clients when planning upgrades.
  • Manage setup of technical environment for hosted clients.
  • Should have knowledge on ITIL process and tools like ServiceNow
  • Work with Help Desk personnel to resolve client installation issues.
