This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent (FTE) role. The selected candidate can either elect to work remotely or onsite in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Relocation aid is available to a candidate with superior qualifications.
Qualifications
As a data architect on our domestic resilience team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions to build reliable ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) processes to facilitate data transfers between homogeneous or heterogeneous sources and target systems.
You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by setting up the system, testing it to ensure flawless operations, and correcting any issues. With your motivation to establish processes and facilitate technological innovation, you’ll make a lasting impact on homeland security.
You Have:
- 8+ years of experience with industry-standard ETL development techniques
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle, Postgres, Cosmos, or SQL database technologies
- 5+ years of experience with data integration
- 3+ years of experience with Azure Cloud SaaS solutions and managed services, including serverless, technologies such as Azure Data Factory
- Experience with scripting and basic programming, including JavaScript, shell script, Python or SQL
- Knowledge of disparate data sources and targets
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with data analysis and profiling of source data while developing and building robust ETL processes
- Experience with API management, development, and testing
- Knowledge of data validation, cleansing, transformation, consolidation, de-duplication, aggregation, de-aggregation, and enrichment
- Knowledge of how to build ETL processes for scale and performance
